30 Seconds To Mars ' Wins Unplugged' MTV' Live Performance 2011
30 Seconds to Mars' award for the Best Live MTV Performance of 2011 comes on the heels of a globe-spanning, record-setting tour. And Just as they did at the group's closing show in New York, the Echelon demonstrated their devotion to the band ... by voting in force. 30STM's poll-winning "Unlugged" performance of "Hurricane" features acoustic guitars and Jared Leto's sparse vocals, but it also comes backed by a stirring string ensemble. The mood inside the studio is undeniably somber but, like pretty much everything 30STM do, there's a raging, revelatory undercurrent too. Their performance is very much a communal thing, one where a celebration never seems all that far off.
Paramore - In the morning
Back to the early 2011 enjoy the song!!!
----------------------------------------
You escape like a runaway train
Off the tracks and down again
My heart's beating like a steamboat tugging
All your burdens, on my shoulders
In the mourning, I'll rise
In the mourning, I'll let you die
In the mourning, all my worry
Everybody Talks - Neon Trees
Neon Trees scored a Number One alternative hit with "Animal," off their debut album, Habits. But that wasn't the kind of success frontman Tyler Glenn was originally seeking with the Provo, Utah band. "Going into our first record we wanted to make sure we sounded cool and we wanted the cool kids. "We wanted to be one of the bands like the Strokes, like the White Stripes, that kind of band, and have the blogs like us and have the music media write about us."
We the kings - Say you like me
We The Kings' new video could be a real game-changer. The interactive video for "Say You Like Me," released on Vevo on Tuesday (Nov. 22), allows viewers to take control of the band members to save their love interest from a kidnapping. To reach the end, they must play through sequences in the style of video games ranging from "Mortal Kombat" to "Wii Sports."
